We think that’s worth knowing, especially when you’re arranging a trip to a country you may be visiting for the first time.
So, here’s a little about us.
Tanzania Beyond the Plains is a locally based safari company with a personal approach to travel.
Tanzania is our home, and we understand that visiting a new country comes with both excitement and questions. There are decisions to make, details to consider, and people to rely on along the way.
We want you to feel comfortable asking those questions, understanding your options, and knowing what to expect from us.
Tanzania is often represented by its vast savannas and remarkable wildlife. And while those are important parts of our country, they are only part of the picture. There are the highlands, the coast, the towns and villages, the different cultures, and the people whose knowledge and everyday lives give each region its character. The name Tanzania Beyond the Plains reflects how we’d like people to see our home: with an appreciation for its well-known places, and an openness to understanding everything around them.
